Hello, and welcome to Final Fantasy Answers. What question do you have today?

If you include the main series, there are fourteen numbered Final Fantasy titles. Then add sequels on top of that - Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and the yet-to-be-released Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. You can count XIV as two games considering Version 1.0 and Version 2.0 are named differently, the latter being Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. XI has plenty of add-ons being an MMO. These include:

  • Final Fantasy XI: Rise of the Zilart
  • Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia
  • Final Fantasy XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan
  • Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess
  • Final Fantasy XI: A Crystalline Prophecy - Ode of Life Bestowing
  • Final Fantasy XI: A Moogle Kupo d'Etat - Evil in Small Doses
  • Final Fantasy XI: A Shantotto Ascension - The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born
  • Final Fantasy XI: Vision of Abyssea
  • Final Fantasy XI: Scars of Abyssea
  • Final Fantasy XI: Heroes of Abyssea
  • Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin

There are sub-series, such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, and Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. These all take place in Ivalice. Other games that take place in Ivalice, though aren't exclusively Final Fantasy, include Vagrant Story, Crystal Defenders, Crystal Defenders: Vanguard Storm, Dive II Hunt: The Adventures of Sorbet and the cancelled Fortress.
Then you get to spin-offs. This is where the bulk is:

  • Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
  • Final Fantasy Adventure
  • The Final Fantasy Legend
  • Final Fantasy Legend II
  • Final Fantasy Legend III
  • Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light
  • Bravely Default: Flying Fairy
  • Final Fantasy Dimensions
  • Dissidia: Final Fantasy
  • Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy
  • Dissidia Duodecim Prologus: Final Fantasy
  • Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy
  • Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade
  • Final Fantasy Artniks
  • Final Fantasy: All the Bravest
  • Final Fantasy Trading Card Game

Although not video games, we also have all the Final Fantasy movies and animes. Most of these fall within the category of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. Movies include:

  • Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals
  • Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
  • Last Order: Final Fantasy VII
  • On The Way to a Smile: Episode Denzel
  • Final Fantasy Unlimited
  • Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within

The Compilation of Final Fantasy VII is probably the most expanded-upon sub-series beside Ivalice. Other than the original Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children, we have:

  • Dirge of Cerberus - Final Fantasy VII -
  • Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode - Final Fantasy VII -
  • Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII
  • Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
  • On The Way to a Smile (novel)
  • Hoshi wo Meguru Otome (novel)
  • Final Fantasy VII Snowboarding

The Fabula Nova Crystalis, other than XIII and it's sequels, also includes Versus XIII (possibly renamed Final Fantasy XV) and Final Fantasy Type-0. The Crystal Chronicles includes Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Ring of Fates, My Life as a King, Echoes of Time, My Life as a Darklord and The Crystal Bearers. Then there's the Chocobo series: Chocobo Racing, Battle de Chocobo, Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon, Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon 2. Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, Chocobo Stallion, Dice de Chocobo, Hataraku Chocobo and Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon: Majo to Shoujo to Go-nin no Yuusha.
Despite not being Final Fantasy titles, games that focus on Final Fantasy characters/elements include Itadaki Street Special, Itadaki Street Special Portable, Blood of Bahamut, Ehrgeiz, all three Lord of Vermillion games, all 9 Kingdom Hearts games (including the yet-to-be-released KH3) with all their International versions, Guardian Cross, Imaginary Range and Knights of the Crystals.
Lastly there are compilation games - previously released games that are either updated or released on different discs/consoles with other games. They include:

  • Final Fantasy I∙II
  • Final Fantasy Collection
  • Final Fantasy Anthology
  • Final Fantasy Chronicles
  • Final Fantasy Origins
  • Final Fantasy I & II Dawn of Souls
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
  • Finest Fantasy for Advance
  • Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection
  • Final Fantasy Digital Collection
  • Final Fantasy I, II, IV and V on iOS
  • Final Fantasy III on DS
  • Final Fantasy X and X-2 International versions
  • Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System

And there are heaps of other less notable games/movies/television/manga that feature Final Fantasy cameos. There are also literally countless numbers of music albums, art books and action figures released from the series. It's a bigger series than most people think... -- Emperor-PSPField Borghen LeonDK 22:32, March 24, 2013 (UTC)
