Hello, and welcome to Final Fantasy Answers. What question do you have today?

Tifa is a main character from Final Fantasy VII. She is the childhood friend of Cloud Strife, the protagonist, and grew up in Nibelheim with him. She is also a member of AVALANCHE alongside Cloud and Barret and the owner of the bar 7th Heaven. In the game, Tifa is a Monk class, fighting with her fists and feet - her weapons are claws and gloves, her ultimate weapon being the Premium Heart. She has the unique ability to chain her Limit Breaks into combos, using her Limit Breaks via a slot machine - one reel for each Limit Break. "Hit" will cause the Limit Break to be performed, continuing the combo. "Yeah!" will perform the Limit Break with extra damage, and "Miss" will cause the combo to stop right there. Her Limit Breaks, in order, are Beat Rush, Somersault, Waterkick, Meteodrive, Dolphin Blow, Meteor Strike and Final Heaven. In the sequel Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Tifa has a prominent role, first engaging in a one-on-one battle with Loz, during which she uses several of her Limit Breaks including Somersault and Meteodrive, then helping Cloud come to terms with his Geostigma and assisting in the battle against Bahamut SIN. She makes a brief appearance in Dirge Of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, during the ground assault on Midgar with Barret and Cloud and during the final level when everyone is cheering Vincent on. She also appears in the ending along with Yuffie. Tifa appears in the crossover Kingdom Hearts II, searching for Cloud. She fights alongside Sora briefly, and can be fought in the Olympus Coliseum alongside Yuffie, Squall and Cloud in a 4 vs. 1 battle. In battle, she can use her limit break Final Heaven. If the player completes the Sephiroth sidequest, Tifa will engage in a brief battle with Sephiroth.

Tifa has a caring, motherly personality, which she hides behind a tough nature. Tetsuya Nomura, who designed her, has been quoted as saying "There are many dimensions to Tifa's character. She's like a mother, a sweetheart, and a close ally in battle." Throughout the game and the movie sequel, Tifa serves as Cloud's emotional support and his "anchor", her biggest contribution being to help him remember what really happened in the Nibelheim incident.

I hope that was enough information for you.
